A company called Wet Circuit has developed a waterproof power strip,
that functions even when it comes in contact with water, where as a
normal power strip would short out and almost certainly electrocute you.The Wet Circuit power strip features a patented design that minimizes
the flow of electricity when water comes in contact with the unit, as
you can see in the video below.
The
waterproof power strip can be submerged in water for up to 2 hours, and
it also features over heating protection and a fuse, plus spark
protection, and according to the manufacturer it has around four times
the lifespan of a normal power strip
