An innovative robot has been created called the MorpHex Robot, that has been designed in the shape of a large ball and can transform itself into a hexapod. Allowing it to and walk, dance, and interact with its environment.

The design uses 25 servos together with custom linkages and body shells, to create the MorpHex Robot. Which can retract its legs to become a ball when necessary. Watch the video after the jump to see the MorpHex Robot in action.
